The British Motor Museum has full disabled access and is family friendly. Lifts to all levels, portable induction loops and wheelchairs are available.

Your Visit

Parking
There is ample of parking available on site for all visitors. Please follow the blue and white signs for Disabled Museum Parking which will take you to the designated parking area.

Car Parking on Special Show Days
On show days disabled parking is moved to ensure it is nearest to the show entrance, which is usually at the top of site. Should you require any assistance on event days please inform a car parker when you arrive on site and they can arrange for a shuttle down to the Museum.

Drop Off Point
There is a drop off point just outside the Museum entrance located on the left hand side of the road.

Dogs
Dogs are NOT allowed into the Museum or Collections Centre, with the exception of Guide or Assistance Dogs which are allowed. Dogs are however permitted outside within the Museum grounds, but they must be kept on a lead at all times and all mess picked up and disposed of. They should not be left in hot or unventilated cars.

Access

Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available for hire (free of charge) from the Museum Pay Desk. Visitors can either request a chair upon arrival or pre-book a chair by calling 01926 641188 or emailing enquiries@britishmotormuseum.co.uk. We cannot guarantee availability of wheelchairs on arrival as we have a limited number.

Access Around the Building
The Museum has lift access to all floors and level floors within the Museum, cafe and Collections Centre. 

Induction Loops
Portable induction loops are available from the Museum Pay Desk or Conference Reception. Our exhibitions using audio also feature built in induction loops.

Families

Baby Changing
There are baby changing facilities on the ground floor of the Museum.

Push Along Cars
Swap your pushchairs with our push along cars located in our garages next to the Museum pay desk.
