Heritage Certificate Enquiries
The Archive of the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust holds the original factory records created by many of the leading British motor manufacturers. If you are looking for a certified copy of your vehicle's entry in the original factory ledger, applying for tax exemption or an age-related registration mark, or importing/exporting your vehicle then a Heritage Certificate can be helpful.
Find out more about Heritage Certificates. Alternatively, please email us.
Archive Images
The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust has a unique collection of photographs covering the history of the British motor industry. Many of these images are available to license for a range of purposes including broadcast media, advertising and publishing.
Please browse motorgraphs.com or flickr.com/photos/bmiht to identify the reference numbers of the items you would like to order and provide details of intended use. Please then email photo@britishmotormuseum.co.uk
A range of films are also available on DVD from our online shop.
