Get ready for a brand-new, one-day celebration of the air-cooled! The People’s Air-Cooled Show is an exciting new event dedicated to the Volkswagen and Porsche air-cooled community - a show truly for the people.
Every air-cooled Porsche or Volkswagen vehicle is welcome to join the display, whatever the age or model! Exhibitors and their passengers benefit from discounted tickets, which include admission to the world-class British Motor Museum, making this an unmissable day out for enthusiasts, families, and fans alike.
If you don’t have an air-cooled VW or Porsche of your own, just come along and enjoy the show! Visitor parking is available in the Museum’s Show Day parking area. You can purchase visitor tickets for the same price as a standard Museum entry ticket and enjoy the displays and the Museum! Book online in advance for the best value tickets.

For those who want to make a weekend of it, camping will be available on Saturday 22nd August 2026 within the museum grounds - perfect for soaking up the atmosphere and meeting fellow enthusiasts before the big day. Separate charges apply.

Vehicle Exhibitors
Love air cooled automotives and want to come and celebrate with us by showing off your vehicle? Come and join the display! Vehicle Exhibitor tickets cost just £13 per adult and include entry for the vehicle and driver. You can also book exhibitor passenger tickets at £13 per adult and £7 per child. Tickets give admission to the show, Museum and Collections Centre.

Camping
Get the full experience of the People’s Air-Cooled Show and camp in the grounds of the Museum on the night of Saturday 22 August 2026
Book in advance and save, with camping for just £27 per pitch for one night. A pitch is for a maximum of one unit/tent and up to 4 people. If booking on the day, this costs £37 per pitch for one night. Camping tickets can be booked with your show entry tickets below.
The campsite will be open from 4pm on the Saturday evening - do not arrive before then, as the campsite marshal will not be available for check-in. The gates will be closed at 9pm, until 7.30am the next morning - no new arrivals will be admitted after this time. All campers must vacate the site by 6pm on the Sunday, after the show finishes.
