Full steam ahead! Climb aboard for this special family-friendly weekend dedicated to model trains and layouts with the added draw of exploring our fabulous collections in the Museum.
Welcome to the Great British Model Railway Show, supported by some of the biggest names in the industry, including Hornby and Bachmann. As well as over 40 model railways, representing all interests and scales, you will find plenty of specialist traders to buy those scenic materials, accessories and complete trains sets too.
This event is one of the biggest model railway shows in the Midlands, run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. From modest-size shunting layouts you can store in a cupboard, to titanic masterpieces in miniature that most of us can only dream about, come along and be inspired! You might even find the perfect piece for your next big project.
The Great British Model Railway Show is a perfect event for families who are looking for something a bit different for the children. Not only can they enjoy looking at the layouts and model trains on show but you can also explore the British Motor Museum which is home to over 400 historic British cars. Entry to the Museum is included in show tickets. We also have hot meals, sweet treats and refreshments in our Junction 12 Café.
The show includes:
- 40 layouts of various scales
- Over 30 specialist traders
- Modelling skills zone
- Family-friendly displays
- Junction 12 Café with hot food and refreshments
