Get ready for another evening of every kind of automotive enthusiast and every kind of motor coming together for the August edition of the Gaydon Gathering! 🚗💨.
It doesn’t matter if your vehicle is British or not, or if it's a car, commercial, military, bus, motorbike, scooter or tractor, just bring it along. All are welcome at our Gaydon Gatherings, whether they are classic, veteran, vintage or modern classic.
Whether you have a vehicle to bring along or not, these evenings provide a great opportunity for petrolheads to indulge in their passion with like-minded people, whilst enjoying tasty food and something to wash it down with! You’ll also be able to pop your head into our workshop to get an exclusive close up look at what motors the team are tinkering on!
The Gathering happens outdoors, at the front of the Museum building. Driving something a bit special? Some lucky vehicles will be invited to park at the front of the Museum, and there will be additional parking for the rest of the motors that come along!
There will be refreshments on sale including; burgers, teas, coffees and cold drinks as well as a bar courtesy of Windmill Hill Brewing Company. There will also be special themed menu items for each Gaydon Gathering. This month's specials are:
Burger Break
- Sothern fried chicken burger in a sesame seed bun with salsa and gem lettuce £8.25
- Crispy jackfruit burger in a sesame bun with melted cheese, salsa, and gem lettuce £8.25
At 6.00pm, we will bring out a fantastic vehicle from either the BMIHT or JDHT collections. It will be introduced over the PA system and driven around the grounds for everyone to see and hear. We’ve had everything from the Vauxhall Lotus Carlton, to the trio of Monte Carlo Rally winning Minis, to the Ariel Atom V8! Come along to find out what this month's feature car will be.
Tickets are now available and FREE to book. Pre-booking is essential. Make sure to get yours before they go!
Tap the button below to book.
To help us manage the evening, this is a ticket only event with limited numbers. If you turn up without a ticket, we cannot guarantee you entry.
As numbers are limited, if you have reserved a ticket, but later decide you no longer wish to attend the event please let us know so that we can reallocate your ticket(s).
Our mission is to collect, conserve, share and inspire, and we love that we're able to offer the Gaydon Gatherings as completely free to attend events! As a charity, your donations are vital in helping us to continue our work, so if you'd like to donate you do this when you book your ticket using the button below, or by visiting our Just Giving webpage.
Please drive safely, respect our local community and abide by all speed limits. CCTV is in operation and unacceptable driving behaviour may result in footage being shared with the police.
Gaydon Gatherings always take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, before finishing in October. Make a note in your diary and keep an eye on our What’s On page for more details!
