This October Half-Term, we’re bringing the fun with Forza Horizon 6! Enjoy a full calendar of engaging activities for the whole family all week long! From building your engineering skills with ComputerXplorers to joining in for the Big Build, there’s plenty to make it a holiday to remember!

Calling all Future Vehicle Engineers!
Monday 26 October - Friday 30 October
We’re teaming up with Playground Games and ComputerXplorers for five days of coding and robotics workshops, giving the whole family the chance to see how technology and video games come to life. You and your child can develop your skills through a range of activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving and teamwork while discovering how robotics is used in the real world, from programming vehicles to take on a Forza Horizon 6 track, to using barcode commands to direct a robot. Complete all the challenges to finish your Future Vehicle Engineer Passport and prove you’ve got what it takes!
No previous coding or robotics experience is needed, and all equipment is provided during the sessions. Suitable for children aged 7 years and above with parental supervision. No need to pre-book; just sign up on the day at the Family Activity Station and join the fun! Each session runs for 45 minutes - the first slot begins at 10:10, and the last begins at 15:10. Maximum 20 places per workshop.
The Big Build
Every Day until 3.30pm, last entry at 3pm
Help us make brick models, inspired by the world of Forza Horizon, ready to go to local community pantries this Christmas! We have thousands of bricks for you to choose from, which we have washed and sorted, but we need your help to create all kinds of imaginative models. It could be a car you’d like to race, a pit stop, a garage or even a winner’s trophy!
When the model is finished, we’ll take a photo - one for you to take home and one to go in the bag so the child who receives it knows what to build!
These completed bags will then be donated to local community pantries and youth groups in areas of deprivation, where they will make their way to happy new homes! These children have often never owned these bricks before, so it will make a massive difference to their lives.
The Brick Bank is a scheme run by the Museum, collecting pre-loved LEGO® bricks and donating them to the children who need them most. Building with bricks develops a child's creativity, motor skills and well-being, all important for their future development. And, of course, recycling bricks rather than just throwing them away is much better for the environment, too!
Car Rides
Mon to Fri - 1pm to 3pm - 26-30 October
Want to experience a couple of the cars from our collection for yourself? As part of your visit, you can experience a ride around the site in a 1959 Vauxhall Velox or the 2002 Land Rover G4 Challenge!* There will be no charge for the rides for visitors, but donations are welcome.

If you're loving Forza Horizon 6 as much as we are, you won't want to miss this exciting new family tour! Join our talented explainers on a journey around the Museum, discovering a broad range of cars straight out of the new game! No need to prebook, just sign up on the day at the Family Activity Station.
Stamp your Passport
Beyond the Museum Mezzanine, there are seven cars hidden around the collections that star in Forza Horizon 6. Can you find them all? Collect your Tank Passport and add a new stamp for each car, with designs inspired by this landmark release. Once you’ve found them all, fill out the back, including a photo or drawing of yourself, to get your passport ready to take home.
Are you up to the challenge?
Younger visitors can dive into a fun-filled Activity Sheet! Collect one from the Family Activity Station or Mezzanine, and test your skills with games and challenges, including an engaging family trail. Find Tank around the Museum and learn facts about the game! Complete all the activities to win a reward sticker from the Family Activity Station.
NOTE: All activities are included in Museum admission. All activities are suitable for 4+ years with adult supervision, unless otherwise specified.
