The much anticipated opening event of the year for Historic Rally Car Register (HRCR) members returns to the British Motor Museum!
The HRCR combines various forms of motorsport including scenic tours, speed series and stage rallies to make up the 6 HRCR championships that take place in the UK.
Members and many in the historic rally community won’t want to miss this social gathering - it has become a ‘must-do’ event for any rally enthusiast! You can register for HRCR events, meet friends both old and new, talk to organisers of the events in the HRCR Championships and obtain details of the multitude of events for the forthcoming season.
Plans are in place to display several iconic rally cars from the early beginnings, as well as some of the early organising clubs that helped to sow the seeds of historic rallying as we know today.
So come along to the British Motor Museum in Gaydon on Saturday 10 January 2026 and find out all about the exciting season ahead. For more information, contact: paul@plmotorsport.co.uk.
The Open Day runs from 9.30am – 3pm with the Museum open from 10am – 5pm. Entry to the HRCR Open Day is free of charge with entry via the Conference Entrance.
Access to the HRCR Open Day is free, but why not visit the Museum and make a real day of it? Entry can be bought online in advance or on the day at the Main entrance. Book in advance and SAVE with Museum entry for just £18 per adult, £9 per child and £16 per concession.
When booking your Museum ticket, choose to donate your entry fee, and in return, we'll convert your ticket to an Annual Pass at no extra cost. You will also have the chance to Gift Aid your donation. Please be a Gift Aid visitor if you can; it makes a big difference to our charity and can only be done at the time of booking.
