Everyone welcome
It doesn’t matter if your vehicle is British or not, or if it's a car, commercial, military, bus, motorbike, scooter or tractor, just bring it along. All are welcome at our Gaydon Gatherings, whether classic, veteran, vintage or modern classic.
Even if you don't have a vehicle to display, please still come along and enjoy the evening. This is a great opportunity for petrolheads to indulge in their passion with like-minded people, whilst enjoying a burger and a drink.
The event will be held outdoors at the front of the Museum. Those wishing to display their vehicle will be invited to park up front, whilst those arriving in modern/everyday cars will be parked separately.
Refreshments
There will be refreshments on sale including; burgers, teas, coffees and cold drinks.
Bicester-based brewery The Wriggly Monkey will also be joining us to provide ice-cold beer for what we hope will be a bright evening!
Gaydon Gatherings take place in the grounds and the Museum itself is not open during these evenings. Toilet facilities will be available.
The gates will open at 5pm for cars to arrive, the Gaydon Garage feature will take place at 6.30pm.
Gaydon Garage Feature
At 6.30pm, we will bring out one of our fantastic vehicles, not normally seen out of the Museum. It will be introduced over the PA system and driven around the grounds for everyone to see and hear. Last year, the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust brought along the Le Mans-winning Jaguar XJR-9! Come along to find out what this month's feature car will be.
Gaydon Gathering Tickets
Tickets for the Gaydon Gatherings are released 3-4 weeks before the event. Check the website regularly to see when they become available.
Pre-booking is essential
To help us manage the evening, this is a ticket only event with limited numbers. If you turn up without a ticket, we cannot guarantee you entry.
As numbers are limited, if you have reserved a ticket, but later decide you no longer wish to attend the event please let us know so that we can reallocate your ticket(s).
Be respectful
Please drive safely, respect our local community and abide by all speed limits. CCTV is in operation and unacceptable driving behaviour may result in footage being shared with the police.
The next Gaydon Gathering?
Gaydon Gatherings will be held the 2nd Tuesday evening of every month from April to October - so make a note in your diary! The next will be Tuesday 11 June.
