The wait is over... Gaydon Gathering is back! Every kind of automotive enthusiast and every kind of motor is invited to our FIRST Gathering of 2026 🚘
We're as excited as you are for the fan favourite event series of Gaydon Gatherings to return to the British Motor Museum this April! Each month, we'll be running this regular meetup, offering petrolheads everywhere the chance to show off their beloved vehicles.
It doesn’t matter if your vehicle is British or not, or if it's a car, commercial, military, bus, motorbike, scooter, tractor or monster truck -just bring it along.
Whether you have a vehicle to bring along or not, these evenings provide a great opportunity for petrolheads to indulge in their passion with like-minded people, whilst enjoying tasty food and something to wash it down with. You’ll also be able to pop your head into our Workshop to get an exclusive close up look at what motors the team are tinkering on!
The Gathering happens outdoors, at the front of the Museum building. Driving something a bit special? Some lucky vehicles will be invited to park at the front of the Museum, and there will be additional parking for the rest of the motors that come along!
There will be refreshments on sale including; burgers, teas, coffees and cold drinks as well as a bar courtesy of Windmill Hill Brewing Company. There will also be themed menu items for each Gaydon Gathering. This month’s food specials are:
Taste of the Caribbean
- "Albert Brown’s" famous jerk chicken with rice and peas
- Jamaican sweet potato and spinach curry with rice and peas
- Jerk seasoned fries
- Caribbean coleslaw
Gluten free and vegan options available.
Gaydon Gatherings take place in the grounds and the Museum itself is not open during these evenings. Toilet facilities will be available.
The gates will open at 5pm for cars to arrive and the Collection Spotlight will take place at 6.30pm.
At 6.30pm, we will bring out a fantastic vehicle from either the BMIHT or JDHT collections. It will be introduced over the PA system and driven around the grounds for everyone to see and hear. We’ve had everything from the Vauxhall Lotus Carlton, to the trio of Monte Carlo Rally winning Minis, to the Ariel Atom V8! Come along to find out what this month's feature car will be.
Tickets are available now and free to book. Tap the button below.
To help us manage the evening, this is a ticket only event with limited numbers. If you turn up without a ticket, we cannot guarantee you entry.
As numbers are limited, if you have reserved a ticket, but later decide you no longer wish to attend the event please let us know so that we can reallocate your ticket(s).
Please drive safely, respect our local community and abide by all speed limits. CCTV is in operation and unacceptable driving behaviour may result in footage being shared with the police.
Gaydon Gatherings always take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Make a note in your diary and keep an eye on our What’s On page for more details!
