Join us at the British Motor Museum on Access Day to enjoy our fantastic collection on a day dedicated to maximising accessibility for all!
While we are committed to ensuring that our spaces are accessible and inclusive at all times, Access Day showcases our existing initiatives such as SEND & sensory bags and Touch & Access Tours, along with a whole host of exciting accessible activities like specially adapted crafts, as well as relaxed hours, and a quiet room.
This is just one of the ways we aim to create the best Museum experience for those with additional needs, along with continued reviews, upgrades and changes to the Museum to make it as welcoming as possible, regardless of visitors’ requirements.
All activities are free with general admission.
Come along and join the Learning Team on one of our specially adapted Touch and Access Tours. These sensory guided tours bring the collection to life, allowing visitors to get up close to a number of the cars in the Museum.
Sign up for a Touch and Access Tour at the Family Activity Station and join your tour from the designated meeting point by the Museum Pay Desk.

We’re delighted to have recently installed a Changing Places toilet, thanks to grant funding provided by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities with support from Stratford on Avon District Council in association with Muscular Dystrophy UK.
This fantastic facility is designed to accommodate those with accessibility needs, with specialist equipment, such as a hoist and extra space for carers.
