British Motor Museum
To celebrate 30 years of the MX-5 and 25 years of the MX-5 Owners Club, the club will stage the MX-5 anniversary rally at the British Motor Museum.
The club’s annual rally is the hub of the UK’s MX-5 community, providing a great opportunity for all owners, drivers and enthusiasts of the MX-5 to meet, display their cars, shop and network.
This anniversary event also includes a very special visit to the UK from the original designer of the MX-5, Tom Matano, who will meet fans, speak in the auditorium and autograph a few lucky member’s cars. The Museum is open for everyone to explore from 10am to 5pm with entry included in the ticket price.
Features for visitors on the day include:
- Europe’s leading MX-5 specialists and suppliers
- Technical advice workshops
- VIP guests and entertainment.
- Test drive the latest Mazda models
Members of the MX-5 Owners Club can enter this event for free. You can bring 1 vehicle and up to 2 passengers (including other members) with infield parking and a commemorative rally gift included.
New members of the MX-5 Owners Club (who joined up to 6 September 2019) can enter the event with a guest. Owners of early Mk1 MX-5s can book special display parking at the dedicated event website - mx530.co.uk.
Come and see over 2000 Mazda MX-5's at this event in addition to the Museum and Collections Centre. Explore our new exhibition 'The Car. The Future. Me' and new temporary exhibition 'Mini: Great Little Cars' celebrating 60 years of the iconic marque.
