      Museum on the Move Friday 21 April 2023

      Exclusive Members' only event

      Museum on the Move is an annual exclusive Members only event where we showcase a selection of cars from the collection and Members get the opportunity to ride in some of them. Designed to bring the collection to life and for Members to get up close to some of our fabulous cars. Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells as we fire up the engines to experience nearly a century of motoring history.

      These are the cars showcased in the 2023 'Museum on the Move' event on 21 April;

      - 1952 Riley RMA
      - 1955 Gas Turbine Mule
      - 1964 Morris Mini Cooper S (AJB)
      - 1971 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
      - 1978 Triumph Lynx prototype
      - 1989 Reliant Scimitar SS1
      - 1993 Vauxhall Lotus Carlton

      The evening consisted of drinks and canapes in the Museum where Members got the chance to meet and chat with the Collections Team, as well as meet fellow Members passionate about cars and British automotive history. Then Members were taken outside and introduced to the selection of cars and taken for a ride around the site.
