Gull-winged and turbocharged, this rare Japanese Kei-class sports car (abbreviated from the Japanese kei-jidōsha meaning a class of light vehicle) is often called a go-kart due to its handling and ultra-light weight at only 720kg. It was developed by Suzuki and later by Mazda and was designed to weave Kei regulations with sporty and exotic styling.
Despite high interest and expectations, they didn’t sell well as the launch coincided with an economic downturn in Japan. It meant potential customers were priced out – it was small and expensive, but it is now a highly collectible car.
