The 2003 Land Rover G4 Challenge covered 4,000 miles on four global 'stages' over of four weeks and different time zones, a different Land Rover vehicle was used in each.

Stages took around five days to complete and traversed stunning scenery and familiar cities in intense heat and extreme cold. The Challenge started in New York, from where competitors then trekked up the Eastern US Seaboard to the White Mountains.

Action then crossed the equator to South Africa followed by Western Australia, before heading to Sydney. The final stage was on the US West Coast with a finale in the Utah desert.

This Discovery V8i ES was the 'Competitions 2' vehicle from Stage 3 of the 2003 Challenge in Australia.
