J12 M40
British Motor Museum
The return of a legend? This concept riffs off the MG Metro 6R4, the rally wild child from 1985. Last seen ripping up the hill climb at Goodwood Festival of Speed, this new version from MG Motor has 429 bhp from an electric dual-motor powertrain meaning an acceleration time that blows your socks off.
That raw power is reflected in the aggressive, big-winged, phat-spoilered looks that are inspired by the original 6R4 - EX4 was built to mark the 40th anniversary of the famous rally car and went down a storm at Goodwood.
Designed in a collab with RML, a motorsport outfit that is able to turn concepts into track-ready monsters, this car certainly turns heads. Designed and built in the UK, this car has one of the biggest back spoilers and front splitters in the business.
You may not get the roar of combustion engine with this rowdy concept, but the lack of sound doesn’t take away from the ludicrous pace this car picks up on the track!
On loan from MG Motor UK.
