We have partnered with Tree-V to offer you the opportunity to carbon offset the miles travelled to our venue by your delegates for just £1 per delegate. Unlike other carbon offsetting offerings, Tree-V focuses solely on transport, be it cars, bikes, lorries or buses. This allows them to advocate for, and to, the industry, provide specialist support and build a community that cares about both the journey and the environment.

What is Carbon Offsetting?

Carbon Offsetting is about protecting trees from deforestation, typically international forests. As the carbon has already been removed from the atmosphere, it can be seen as a direct counterbalance to emissions. Tree-V works with projects in Guatemala, Uruguay, Peru and Bolivia. The forest project in Peru is twice the size of Birmingham.

It can be included on yearly Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reports.
It is a great addition to Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.
It counts towards tackling Scope 1 & Scope 3 emissions.

Carbon Capture

We are also able to offer Carbon Capture, as an alternative to Carbon Offsetting. Carbon capture is all about the future. Should you choose to carbon capture your emissions you will be investing in the development of new woodland here in the UK. So whilst your emissions from this year aren’t immediately captured, they will be over the lifetime of your trees. Although more expensive than carbon offsetting, carbon capture is an investment in the future.
