“The staff were incredibly helpful, listened to our needs and allowed us a great degree of flexibility in how we wished to utilise space...

The ‘Fujitsu IT Future’ event was part of a roadshow which took place in 18 different countries. The events aim was to efficiently communicate Fujitsu’s strategies, products, insights and solutions for the year ahead and to showcase and communicate the benefits of their services, solutions and products in a face to face and personalised manner.

The UK event at the British Motor Museum was attended by 250 customers, and the day consisted of a conference in our Conference and Exhibition Suite, break-out sessions in our Lecture Rooms and an exhibition on our Exhibition Gallery.

One reason the British Motor Museum was chosen was because of its capacity to host a large scale stage which was brought in from Germany and built the previous day.  The event was staged in the main Conference and Exhibition Suite, with delegates braking out into Lecture Rooms 1, 2 & to gain further insight into the main themes of the day with  talks by various experts. In addition there was a large exhibition staged on the Exhibition Galley which included exhibitions from both Fujitsu and a number of their key partners. A networking buffet lunch was also served on the Exhibition Galley to facilitate maximum traffic in and around the exhibition.

Sue-Ann Prentice, Head of Technology Product Group Marketing at Fujitsu stated “The British Motor Museum was one of just a few venues that met our requirements of staging a large scale event such as IT Future.  In addition to the main conference area, the size, number and physical location of the break-out rooms and meeting rooms available meant that we could easily meet the multiple requirements we had of a single venue.  The staff were incredibly helpful, listened to our needs and allowed us a great degree of flexibility in how we wished to utilise the conference and exhibition space available.  Customer feedback from the event was fantastic and we thank the British Motor Museum for the role they played in staging a successful event”.

Natasha Fogg, Events Co-ordinator at Ulterior Events stated “It was a hard task trying to find a venue which had the space and ceiling height we required for the main Conference room as well as exhibition space and three break-out rooms to each accommodate 100 delegates. The British Motor Museum was perfect on all three accounts. In addition, it also offered ample free parking and was ideally located just off junction 12 of the M40 providing easy access for those travelling from all over the UK”.
