Amongst the cars were several that are motoring milestones, including the first Land Rover 'HUE 166' and the last ever Triumph Dolomite Sprint. There were some that are unique, such as the 1967 Rover P6BS mid-engined sports car and others that are newer additions to the collection, for example a recently donated TVR Grantura.
During the evening there was plenty of opportunity to chat to the talented Workshop,
Curatorial and Archive staff who look after our amazing collections. And, as the sun began to set and the last ride of grandeur in a chauffeur-driven 110 year old Austin landaulette or wind-in-the-hair run in an Austin Healey was done, everyone set off home with a smile on their face including one Member who'd travelled nearly 400 miles from Scotland just for the chance to experience seeing and riding in some of our collection!
