Have yourself a very crafty Christmas! Join us at the British Motor Museum for some festive crafting, where children aged 7-11 can make their own automotive-themed decorations all inspired by our collection!
Create an automotive-themed Christmas card for family and friends inspired by an exclusive tour of the collection, where you'll get up close to some of the coolest cars in the Museum.
Then put your crafting skills to the test to create a salt dough bauble in the shape of a car. Will you add a sprinkle of glitter? Or will your bauble feature feathers? Delve into our craft materials to make something totally unique for your family’s Christmas tree this year.
Finally, use the instructions to create a Christmas character from Lego bricks as a present to take home!
The cost is just £10 per child for each Saturday Club which includes admission to the Museum for 1 adult for the duration of the 1.5 hour session if they wish to stay on site. Grown ups, you won’t get bored - we have over 400 vehicles to explore and a lovely café!
No previous experience or specialist equipment is necessary - we’ll provide everything you need to join the fun! Older or younger siblings can be accepted on request.
There is a maximum of 15 participants per club.
Saturday Club sessions take place in our dedicated Learning Hub, which is a secure space with toilets nearby, and are run by members of our Learning Team who all hold Enhanced DBS checks.
A confirmation email and link to our Access Video and Visual Story will be sent to you via email before the session.
