Join us for the second of our exciting new Saturday Clubs; Animation Stations! This session offers for budding young animators to hone their skills, using the Museum's collection as inspiration!
Calling all future filmmakers aged 7-11!
Our costumed character, Bertha Benz, needs your help! She wants to spread the word about her amazing journey and needs budding animators to use their 2D animation skills to create a short video and tell her story to the world.
This Saturday Club allows you to meet Bertha out in the Museum, before getting creative and using the Aardman Animator app to make your very own short film that can be sent home!
The Animation Stations Saturday Club will run from 10.30am until midday on Saturday 16 November 2024. Places are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
The cost is just £10 per child for each Saturday Club which includes admission to the Museum for 1 adult for the duration of the 1.5 hour session if they wish to stay on site. Grown ups, you won’t get bored - we have over 400 vehicles to explore and a lovely café!
No previous experience or specialist equipment is necessary - we’ll provide everything you need to join the fun! Older or younger siblings can be accepted on request.
There is a maximum of 15 participants per club.
Saturday Club sessions take place in our dedicated Learning Hub, which is a secure space with toilets nearby, and are run by members of our Learning Team who all hold Enhanced DBS checks.
A confirmation email and link to our Access Video and Visual Story will be sent to you via email before the session.
