Slot Car fun returns to the Museum!

The ‘UK Slot Car Festival' will return once again to the British Motor Museum for a weekend of Slot Car fun on Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 May. Billed as Europe’s biggest and best slot car event, this exciting festival promises to be great Scalextric fun for children and big kids!

All of the major manufacturers including the iconic Scalextric as headline sponsor will be at the event along with Carrera, SCX,, NSR, Ninco and HO AFX. There will also be an amazing model village rally track and more historic brands such as Minic Motorway, Playcraft and Wren, and new this year a G Scale trains and 1/24th Scale Cars layout.

Visitors can also enjoy plenty of interactive activities including a Lets Go Racing competition, oval banger racing, a drag strip, H0 Scale tracks, digital lay-outs, a comprehensive retail area featuring over 60 trade stands and a Slot stunt show.

The event also gives visitors the opportunity to meet manufacturers and swap, buy and sell cars, as well as meet like-minded enthusiasts. Throughout the weekend visitors can play for free on a host of tracks showcasing the very latest innovations such as the forthcoming Scalextric Spark Plug which allows you to race your car using your Android or IOS smart device.
