Exhibition is now open

We’ve had a couple of visits from our first contributors to the Arts Council funded People’s 50 exhibition. Jean Vaughan, from the Alcester Dementia Cafe and Kay and David White, ex-employees of Rover, enjoyed seeing their objects and photographs on display and are really pleased that their contributions are being enjoyed by our visitors.

Interest in the exhibition is gathering pace with more loans and contributions being offered for the display from local people. Latest objects offered include, a 1946 copy of The Highway Code, a photograph circa 1910 of family members proudly sitting on their tri car festooned with flags and car themed cigarette cards from the 1930s. Very soon we aim to have these and other new objects in the cases, along with their associated stories, so watch this space for news on this at the end of July!
